Naomi R.
Certified Postpartum Doula
Lifelong journey caring for children
As a mother of 3 understand firsthand the joys, challenges and adjustments that come with welcoming a new baby.
My name is Noemi, though my friends and families lovingly call me Mimi. I have dedicated much of my life to caring for children and supporting families through the many beautiful transitions that come with growing a family. As a mother of three children, I understand firsthand the joys, challenges, and adjustments that come with welcoming a new baby. My passion for caring for children began early in life and has continued throughout my career. When my own children were younger, I also operated an in-home daycare, giving me years of hands-on experience caring for infants and young children and a deep understanding of the day-to-day needs of families.
As a postpartum doula, I have supported families with newborns, including twins and babies with reflux and other unique needs. I provide hands-on newborn care, including breastfeeding, bottle feeding support, diapering, soothing, and helping families establish comfortable routines. I also assist with light household tasks, allowing parents more time to rest, recover, bond with their baby, and focus on their growing family.
I believe the postpartum period should be met with patience, compassion, and support. My calm and nurturing approach allows families to feel comfortable and cared for during a time that can be both exciting and overwhelming. I take pride in being dependable, attentive, and responsive to each family’s individual needs.
It is a true honor to be welcomed into a family’s home during such an important chapter. My goal is to provide the practical support, reassurance, and loving care families need to feel confident as they settle into life with their new baby.
